I don't think the capacity is as large as the PAC (this carries somewhere around 1700 cu in), but the strapping system on this bag is equal if not better. It is also only $40 new on Ebay, which made it a no-brainer for me.

So does anybody have any suggestions for straps? I got some bungee cords, but I think it'd be good to have an adjustable strap (non-stretchy) for lashing stuff down too. I was thinking about Rivendell's Irish Strap, but it seems just a little pricey for such a basic item.
