    This is apt to be the shortest thread in the forum, but what the hell. If I get to see a few good-looking Surlys, and, perhaps, get a few snide comments in the mix, I think it'll be worth it.

    44:16 with 28c tires, it's about 74 gear inches.

    My Merckx is 48:17 for the street [also about 74" with 23c tires] and 48:15 for the track.

    Brooklyn Machine Works. It had to be custom because I needed a longer steerer than their stock forks.
