discuss. The internet has brought porn into every home in the free world, ruined brick and mortar shopping, added to the plethora of misinformation roaming the planet, destroyed our ability to interact with each other in person and enabled people to become addicted to you-tube. The fact that it may be harming bike messangers' jobs doesn't suprise me. I'm not exactly sure why we even keep it around. I have a sneaking suspicion that it is related to the porn though. |
This is effing hilarious. I was walking by them when they were taking that picture.
|
there is a price to be paid for our global pornography network. I think it is worth it.

Are you kidding me? I mean yes, that's all true. But do you have any idea how empowering the interweb is to millions of people? Anyone with a computer and a phone line has access to unbelievable amounts of information, a lot of which is actually pretty f***ing useful. Obviously it can't be stopped, and yes some bad shtuff comes along with it. But honestly you can say the same about any technology. I mean what, there's phone sex. So what, get rid of phones? Books, CDs, Couriers, yeah they're going to suffer. But it's not like this is someone's fault. Those industries just gotta learn to keep up with the times, bro. </not about bicycles at all> And btw I'm not saying "f**k the couriers," I'm just saying there's no point in getting all bitter about it. It's gonna keep happening and dudes gotta deal. |

That is a very extreme and unproven, as well as biased, view of technology and can be applied in one form or another to every world changing invention in the history of man. |
