The internet has brought porn into every home in the free world, ruined brick and mortar shopping, added to the plethora of misinformation roaming the planet, destroyed our ability to interact with each other in person and enabled people to become addicted to you-tube. The fact that it may be harming bike messangers' jobs doesn't suprise me. I'm not exactly sure why we even keep it around. I have a sneaking suspicion that it is related to the porn though.

Are you kidding me? I mean yes, that's all true. But do you have any idea how empowering the interweb is to millions of people? Anyone with a computer and a phone line has access to unbelievable amounts of information, a lot of which is actually pretty f***ing useful.

Obviously it can't be stopped, and yes some bad shtuff comes along with it. But honestly you can say the same about any technology. I mean what, there's phone sex. So what, get rid of phones?

Books, CDs, Couriers, yeah they're going to suffer. But it's not like this is someone's fault. Those industries just gotta learn to keep up with the times, bro.
