Schwinn BB removal
So I am currently trying to remove the bb on a Schwinn Traveler fixed gear project (don't know the year, maybe early 90's) and I have removed the lockring and adjustable cup. However, I am struggling with the fixed cup. I am trying to use the home made tool that Sheldon recommended, but it seems as though I am tightening it even more. This frame should have English threading, so per his instructions, I need to tighten the nut on the outside (cranking it clockwise), which seems counter intuitive. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I greatly appreciate the help as I am trying to avoid having a mechanic do it.

The fixed cup (by which I'm assuming you mean the one on the opposite side of the lockring) is not meant to be removed unless absolutely necessary. You can just clean around it.
