Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

ebay is good, also you could search the interweb for somewhere that will ship to you. Surly makes great cogs for the price, but ebay has some good ones. Go with a 17 tooth for sure.

Go with 17. I've got an 18 and a 16. Running the 18 right now, but spinning like a washing machine isn't all that fun sometimes. 16 is fast, but it's a lot tougher to modulate speed than the 18. I've got a 17 on order at work.
