Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Stock Wheelset on Mercier Kilo TT

These are the ones on bikeisland.com and probably equivalent to the ones on ebay (economy track wheelset), i think. Anybody have an opinion on them?

My front wheel was a little out of true when it was shipped to me, but no problems since.

I made the mistake of not tightening the lockring when I got my complete Kilo TT & stripped the hub on my first ride. Whoever picked them up from where I left them outside my flat may be able to tell you how they ride with a freewheel.
