hi and new bike
I have bee hanging around surfing but seldom posting since 2004 when I got my bmx bike I have been playing with that mostly with my grandaughter she is 6 years old I am 56.A couple of weeks ago I decided I needed to get back in shape (man am I out of shape)so I got the old lotus classique out of the shed tuned it up and started riding been taking it slow started with 5 mi rides now 7 mi doing ok averaging about 14 mph, better than I expected.I have wanted A track bike to ride on the street since I was 20 decided its about time to take the plunge.I ordered a trek t1 today should be able to pick it up next week sometime. I am like a kid at christmas I want it now.I know I needed something more relaxed like a surly steamroller but thats not what I wanted the trek is what I wanted. Through the years I have found that I am happier with what I want not what I need so the trek is on the way thanks for listening I just had to tell someone.

Sorry bro, but those run-on sentences are brutal.

That's a better. Now we can take you a bit more seriously. Most people will tolerate a few typos, misspellings and unique logical "grammatics" (I just made that up). Your original post is ridiculous. It reads like a 7 year old trying to tell a story without taking a breath.
People who tell you not to worry about the way you communicate - regardless of the medium- are idiots.
Strive to better yourself - don't listen to those fools.
Tip: Put a space AFTER periods when starting a new sentence. .
Congrats on the bike. I'd like to get my hands on a BMX or jump bike. My GF's little mountain bike is begging me to convert it.

I am often quick to judge someone for poor grammar. Regardless, I feel compelled have to point out two things about the first post: he claims to feel like a kid at Christmas and admits to being 56. Writing like a breathless 7-year-old is consistent with a kid at Christmas. The internet-- and computers in general-- are not necessarily the most comfortable medium for individuals on the second half of their life's century.
Language is simply a means of communicating thoughts and perhaps the staccato style presented his feelings better the any English teacher grammar ever could.
As for the brave oldhead who stated this thread, I commend you on your choice going for what I assume is your choice of tighter geometry. (I don't know anything about the Trek you speak of but that is the impression I took from the post.) I am only just ending my first quarter-century yet I ride that rapscallion, lazy man's Steamroller. And love it. Either way, I have respect for someone going all out.
Most importantly, have fun with your ride and keep doing what makes you happy.
