Fixed 135mm hub suggestions
Project - Cross check fixie. I need suggestions for a rear hub that will be laced
to a Mavic Open Pro rim. Looking to go cheap, but durable. Any experience or
comments on the hubs listed below? Any other hubs that I should consider?
Van Dessel fixed/free
Surly fixed/free
Kogswell fixed/fixed
Thanks,
Brad

I have a kogswell on my kogswell. I quite like it. I don't have any experience with the others though I believe that that Van Dessel and the Kogswell are made in the same factory and are internally identical so should yield similar performance. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

I have a Surly fixed/free. It's a beautiful hub, smooth as butter. TBH, they're probably all about the same quality, just go for the cheapest or whichever takes your fancy
