Bike Gang?
Call it a gang, crew, or club...they're all the same. How many of you guys ride with a certain group of people and call yourselves something in particular? I ride with about 10 people (3-4 of us with fixies) and we put on bike tag etc. every second thursday.

I ride with the Cobras. There's about 10-20 of us, most of us are FG riders, and some of us (not me) ride unicycles and do tricks as well.

there are some guys here called the dirty birdies, i'm not sure if they still exist, but a lot of us just got to the local venue's dance parties on thursday nights then go play foot down on top of parking garages and then blast around the city while inebriated.

I ride around the block with my 3 year old pretty often, and that's about it for my gang.
He's actually really good in a street fight.

Man that sounds like my old skating days. I really miss that. I need to move to the city and find people to ride with.

Back in high school we had a bike gang called the "fire tires" for ****s and giggles (really just a group that would always ride our bikes to parties on weekends which expanded to include longboarding when we all got into that). This was before I rode fixed... We all had "gang" names (I was Snake) and our "leader" Wheels did set up a conversion and that was my first taste of fixed... ahh the memories of bombing hills, garage riding, and drunken party jumping on bikes.

foot down is a game that is basically what it sounds like, it started with bmx kids i think, but we all do it on fixed gears and random kids with mtbs and stuff, it gets pretty interesting. You basically get a bunch of people together and put them in a small space, like a sectioned off part of a parking garage and then ride around trying to kick and push people off their bikes so they put their foot down, last person to put their foot down wins.

Now defunct. Still ride with blue hoodie (ric flair fixie), the guy in the camo hat and his girlfriend to the left. There were about 5 people not in this photo who rode with us too.

DESTROYERS...
Formed in Northern San Diego, mid-90's, with factions in SF, Vancouver, Chicago, NYC. Between one and fifty deep. Broken bones, lost teeth, garage bands, arrests, nakedness, gallons of King Cobra and sidewalk graffiti in your town. Kind of sleeping right now, but they'll be back...
