Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Fuji Track Pro (trying to find for gf)

After purchasing a 52cm FTP from bike biz and waiting 2 weeks, they told us that they cannot provide one at this time.

If anyone knows of a LBS I can order a complete bike for around the same price as the biz was offering them, I would greatly appreciate the knowledge. As would the misses.

Or if anyone has one fs, send me a PM.

Thanks, joey

all the performance retail stores around me (orange county) have them. maybe call around to your local ones and see if they've got one.

mine has them. but first you have to give a detailed explanation of why you're buying her a track pro.

I've tried most of the performance shops, and none of them have a 52cm. pump the jam.

you come through with a legit 52 cm FTP and she will post pics of herself doing a seated no hander for all to see.

call up breakaway bikes in philly. $1200 but they might throw you a tiny discount for end of year of if you ask for head mechanic shawn and tell him peabody (the white FTP kid) sent you.

breakaway actually likes me! they played the whole phillyfixed maxknee thing cool even though they don't really seem to have a big fanbase. whatever, I've gotten great service from shawn before.

how'd the search end up?

Too risky. I can't have my wife seeing pics of my gf.
