Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? picture request, open pro's

i'm debating weather or not open pros are too thin for my bike. i can't find any pictures of them on any aluminum bikes (with phat tubes). maybe theres a reason for that... anyone have a picture?

while they do look thin compared to fat tubes, they keep the bike lighter. I didn't mind too much when I had the bike

While they can look a little funny, they also are good at smoothing out the harshness that can happen with a fat-tubed aluminum frame. Wheels are one of the biggest determining factors for how 'harsh' or 'smooth' a frame will ride (next to tire pressure and tubing diameter).

I'm into these IRD Cadences/Nio19/KinLin XR 200's lately.

https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...ghlight=nio+19 for pics.

They kind of look like a cross between Open Pros and Aeroheads, weigh 390g and are supposed to build up to a very nice wheel as long as you use atleast 32 spokes.
