Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

CONWAY?!?! Any one out there

Hey so i just moved into my dorm at Hendrix where I will be starting as a freshmen and as i was locking my bike up i saw a bunch of older road bikes but no other fixed gears. I mean my bike sticks out like a sore thumb, which is partially cause of the purple wheels, gold cranks, and lime green wrap.

BUT
is there anyone out there that rides a ss or fg
or am i gonna have to ride my roadie with everyone else

Haha....dudebro. Most excellent.

And good luck finding some FGF's (fixed gear friends), you'll need someone to hold the camera while you show off your mad skidding skills.

(Is this post really a joke? please say it is)
