Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I'm not into tricks, but this guy might take it to a new level.

I don't get it, he's on a BMX - a bike built for tricks and you're saying he should get a skinny road frame not allow him to freewheel (imo almost essential for doing big jumps/tricks) completely changed the handling of the bike, much taller frame so he can't hop too high.. And somehow this'll make him better?

Is a good video, I just had to ask!

He didnt say it would make the guy better. Nowhere does the OP say that.
He said that the crazy guy might take fixed riding to a new level.

Not that I agree with that...but that's what he said.

If you went half as big as some of the **** this guy does on a track bike you'd have taco'd wheels. Maybe 40 spoke Phils to randoneurring rims = the new tarck ****?

I don't know, what was the point of taking BMX racing bikes to that level?

It's fun, stoopid.

If that kid was on a track bike, he'd be bumping the front wheel against a wall and going backward for a stroke like all the other Cadence-sponsored bumbaclaats. Hooray for actually using an appropriate bike for stunting. Kid is sick, and Sham rules.

If you want to see someone doing similar stuff on a road bike: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWOVRHVZFjk

Yeah your head can only take so much trauma and he hit his cranium just a few times. I mean no helmet? I wear a helmet just riding to my classes. This guy is jumping off roofs...

This is the channel Death watches. "OH OH OH OH This is it....damn...maybe next time..."
