Anyone convert an 80's Raleigh Grand Prix to Fixie?
I just found a Raleigh Grand Prix at the neighborhood dump. I want to convert it to fixie. I need to buy all the parts so if anyone has suggestions, I'd appreciate it.

Depends on the Grand Prix. They varied quite a bit and the USA Grand Prixs (they're secretly Huffys) have standard threading and DB 531 main tubes with cro-mo stays (some years had Reynolds 555). They make very nice fixed gears. The one I have was fixed, but I liked it so much I decided to put gears on it. Now that I have a super new road frame, I'm trying to decide if I want to fix the GP frame again or if I need to sell it.
