Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

no, previous years have been sold with only one gear. Unless you were jokingly making a play on words (fixed)

Why would anyone buy a bike that only has one gear?

new size, 53cm to 57cm suct.. so they made a 55, i dont know crap about the geo. All i was told is that its the same exact bike, just a diff. size.

Ive had the 53 on order(for months..) and then my lbs(mission hills bike) said they had a 55cm comming out for 2009, that was shipping along with my 53.. well i rode the 53 and it was a lil too small, so i figured stem + saddle adjust = fine but then I thought 55cm, being 6 foot nothing with a 30in inseam. So lbs said i get my pick, i think the 55 is gonna be the winner. I am totally stoked they fixed the size gap. anyway im drunk and thats my story.

You have a pretty short inseam.

I never knew why they skipped over the 55cm though.

I've been thinking about a KHS Flite 100 for a while. Let us know how you like it when you get it.

got the 08, and the cranks were **** on that.. same with the pedals/clips, the lockring was a joke... the wheels and tires..

wish i would have spent the money on a better frame and built it up, since i ended up buying a lot of new components anyways
