A heads up on shoes
For those that want clipless and a normal shoe, I recently bought a pair of Specialized Posi-Trac shoes so that I could run my clipless (Eggbeater) pedals and still run around town and look half normal in the process. They are an all black BMX shoe that takes SPD drilled cleats. The recess is low enough that you can walk around with out the cleat touching and the have a pretty stiff forefoot. Super comfy in the process. Got em on last pair closeout at a shop for $30 (normally $65).

I know Vans used to make SPD shoes, don't know if they still do. BMX racers like clipless pedals, but they like their skate shoes too, a good compromise if you like that sort of thing.

I really doubt it. The eggbeater and spd cleats just fit in the width provided. I'm not familiar with how the frogs are if that is what you mean, but the road cleats...no.
