Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Show-n-Tell - New Bars

Just felt like sharing. Got some old Bontrager Crowbar MTB riser bars from a buddy. The gauge is like 1/2 the thickness of my old Bontragers and after I cut em down to the same width, theyre lighter... like it matters. I love em LOL

p.s., Yes those are decorative candles in an old fireplace... I live with my girlfriend...

The best thing to do is throw those candles out while your GF is at work.
Take control.

he said nothing of the langster, just the bars i must say, i'm fond of pursuit and drop bars, but to each his own, they don't look bad : ). do the risers remind anybody else of a bmx bike?

i got these bars from my gf's bro's old mtb bike. this is after i took off the grips, shifters, brake levers.

i took a dremel and sawzall to them... finished it off w/ paint (and clearcoat) and accomplished this. (for free).

Haha NO! I love the cross bar haha. I'll probably paint em but otherwise, I like em as is.

p.s., I let her put candles in the fireplace since I have all sorts of other crap hanging on the rest of the walls, i.e., naked mermaid cards skateboard, probably like 10 more decks around the house, porn star action figures, etc...

Thanks mang. I get a lot of compliments in the real world. The internetz world is eager to hate but even most people on these forums say they actually like mine haha. I do appreciate it.

You should use the candles as handle bar grips.
