Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Fix This

I am going to do the AIDS/LifeCycle ride from San Francisco to L.A. (585 miles in 7 days) on my fixie. My website just went up. Here is a link to my page https://www.aidslifecycle.org/1948

Please consider helping out with a donation, however large or small, and tell all your friends and riding buddies about it. My personal goal is $5,000 and my rider number is 1948. Thanks a lot guys (and gals!)

Torrin

I will be doing the "City to Shore" bike tour from Philadelphia to Ocean City NJ in september....on my fixed as well. Its only about 200 miles in 2 days....but its for a good cause and it should be fun. I have the flip flop hub on my fixed, so if I find I am way over my head, I can flip it over and coast..... please dont flame me for the thought of coasting.... *runs and hides from the hardcore fixed riders as they throw batteries at me*
