Forté Pro RS1 Saddle
I know things differ from people to people and whatnot but I'm just going out on a limb for this saddle. I did a search and couldn't find anything other than one thread where a guy mentioned having one and it being a lot like his son's Arione but he never said how much he liked it, etc. I've seen a lot of people here who like the Arione so that has me considering this saddle. Has anyone tried it out?
Also I have a San Marco Rolls that I could tell by just around the block wouldn't like my taint. The width and shape felt really good on the behind but the little ridge in it seems to dig in where I don't need it to and I could tell, would make my taint really sore after a while. I know the Regal is similarly shaped and lacks this ridge from what I've read in some posts. Do you think it would be worth it to try and flip the Rolls and try out a Regal?
I know the best solution for all of this would be to go to my LBS and try out a few different saddles but I live in a small town and the only bike shop here caters to family's and has mostly hybrid bikes and a few cheap bmx bikes and not much of a saddle or parts selection. Thanks if you made it this far.

Tried the Arione on my son's Schwinn, and my neighbor's Biachi (you know, you can buy the Arione in celeste!), and didn't like it, but saddles are funny (ie. odd), and the proper adjustment is sooo important, I've found. Didn't fiddle with my son's or my neighbors, so many the Arione would work for me too, if I gave it a chance. It's a better looking saddle.
But jeez, the Arione is $100+, while Performance routinely blows the RS1 out the door. I got mine for $39 and have seen it for $35. Then you get to add the Tuesday lunch 10%, and in my case, the 10% member/buyer's club discount.
Bought one for my single-speed to replace a firm WTB, and it didn't seem to work for that bike, so I returned it. What I discovered recently, and have since bought two, is the Forte Contour. VERY comfy, and a great fit for my touring bike and my bike with upright bars. Also very low-priced on sale. Think I paid $25 or $29. Also not a very sexy saddle, but it works for commuting, etc, and it's got a reflective rear section.

Wow man thank you for the helpful answer. I think I just may take the plunge and try one out. If it doesn't work out at least I didn't spend major bucks on it. Like you said I'd much rather try this out than the very expensive Arione. Thanks again man.
Oh and what do people think about the Rolls situation I mentioned?
