Cameras have this feature called focus. Suggest you learn how to use it.

By my standards the osobike website is decent. The idea of marketing a singlespeed with a coaster brake is also pretty smart (from a business perspective, not my taste). Unfortunately, quality-wise, the osobike looks like a ride you might find at Walmart.

This might be a stupid question, prompted by a line on that stupid Osu website, but, for those of you who have ridden geared bikes, do you honestly spend that much time "thinking" about what gear you should be in, as so many sites trying to sell people on SS/FG would have you believe?

For me it was always just "too hard/gear down" or "too easy/gear up." Not exactly rocket science. I undergo more complicated thought patterns in public washrooms.

The hall at Interbike is actually a tough place to take good pictures. It seems really bright in there, but it's not. As a result, people don't use the flash and everything comes out dark and blurry. But taking flash photos inside somebody's booth is kind of obnoxious.

I think posting thirty blurry photos is more obnoxious.

By the way, I appreciate the OP for his photos but they are all blurry.

the osobike infomercial is ridiculous. dude has trouble talking about a bike that he 'designed.'

Q: How well does a coaster brake work on a single, narrow, high-pressure tire?

A: Not well enough.

Seriously, it's going to skid like crazy. You'd probably be safer with a fixed cog and no brakes.

"It's got these little safety mechanisms so your chain won't loosen up"

"It pedals really easy because of the way the tires are"

I want one.

Ok...

he said attach the "front seat" (meaning wheel) with the "bolts" (meaning nuts), and that the right pedal is reverse threaded, which is WRONG. also, how do you "screw handlebars in"?

terrible.. just terrible...

Also... those cross levers can either pull the cable or push the housing, enabling you to run the cable out either side. Why would he instruct you to choose the crappier routing of pulling the cable so that is makes a stupid S shape with the housing?! did he not know you can set it up the other way? With the other way the cable makes a nice smooth curve to the housing stop on the caliper.

No wonder he wanted a bike with only a coaster brake and found deraillers and caliper braking systems to be such a hassle.

Man, you guys are brutal. Why do you love finding mistakes on my videos so much? All being said, the osobike is still ausome! And coaster brakes are way under rated. You all need to get off the mentality that a fixed gear is the only cool bike that exists. One day Osobikes will rule the world.
Shane.

Absolutely not.

I honestly can't see anything special about these bikes. It's a single speed bike with a coaster brake. Big ****ing deal. Maybe you need to get over thinking everyone on here is a hipster ******bag, and pull your head out and realize that your bikes are nothing special. Just because you put a coaster brake on a bike doesn't mean you reinvented the bicycle wheel.

I hope you have deep pockets, shane. Without a front brake that thing is dangerous. You'll get sued the first time someone skids into a pedestrian or something.

Sorry buddy, I just wouldnt feel too confident buying a bike from someone who doesnt know anything about them, yet supposedly "designs" one.
