When I first moved back to Cincinnati after living in Chicago people made fun of me for the way I said Chicago.

wait! I just read the "bathe in bleach..." Critical Mass-post and realized that some might not realize I was being facetious. I would never seriously say or believe something as lame as "chicks in ohio dig me" for the following reasons.
01. it is impossible to make that broad of a generalization based on 4 trips through Ohio
02. Chicks is not the preferred nomenclature ("the chinaman is not the issue")
03. "ohio" is a wonderful state and deserves to begin with a capital letter like the other states and Puerto Rico.
04. dig is an antiquated phrase that may not properly describe what exactly occured.
I understand that in the future I should have peppered my post with little smilies and ()'s so that there is never any confusion.
example: chicks (females whom I respect) in (currently residing in) ohio (Ohio) dig (have expressed their desires) me (me). (period)
jeff
yes this is me in final exam mode.

Anybody ever notice how the Chicago accent is fading? I am sure there are some stronger pockets of it on the south side. But it ain't what is used to be. I have been feeling nostagia for it lately.

Hammye knows the truth. I've spent some time as a Mass-hole, and wouldn't you take an east coast girl over an Oh-hi-ho girl 9 times out of 10? David lee Roth was just struggling for lyrics when he wrote about the midwest farmers daughters. Give me an educated, slight boston accent over some fake-southern, central ohio girls twang (complete with a snorting laugh) any day.

I was thinking you may be somebody that used to live in Toledo as well. Yes I did get the east coast girl. And that in itself is pretty funny. On another note, there are a coule of people I know in the Columbus area that have been doin alot of riding on the ol' single speed bike dealies. I think they are always looking for someone to ride with.
