Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

nicely put. that frame has a lot of potential. the white high profile rims and the gold chain just doesn't go with what else is going on.

And drilling all your parts and spending thousands on lightweights doesn't equal a good frame. It's meh.

the GT is a real bike and what parts do you see drilled on the viner? i dont see any extra holes in the stem, post, chainrings, derailleur cages...

i cant find a weight on the viner frame but the very similar stainless steel cinelli is about 1400g+ so figure 1-1.5lbs less for a carbon frame. building a 13lb bike isnt that hard (just expensive)

a steel frame with a ton of ultralight carbon doodads is an interesting experiment but misses the point of steel in the first place.
