Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Attention 312, 773, 708, 630....

If this is your area code, then its time to come out Saturday morning for a freakin fixie ride!!

Im tired of all these excuses and whining and shi$.

I am suggesting 8:00AM meeting timein front of the Hancock building, 900ish Michigan Ave.

Who's gonna make it??

Yes, exactly! There are a few of you Ohio SS/fixers on the site. Fixedgearhead is from Fredricktown. Too bad you are all so spread out across the state.

Well jump on that bike and start peddaling. It's only 290 miles to Chicago, at a 17mph average plus breaks and sleep you should make it just in time. Just imagine the hero's welcome stickerguy and crustedfish would give you after a ride like that.

What did you do to that poor cat?

We Ohio stuck SS/Fix riders should all get together and ride sometime. Kinda like the Chicago guys are doing. Maybe....Toledo? Cleveland?

I would love to pedal on up there. I could use some Gino's East and Goose Island...who am I kidding? I'll settle for a Chicago style hot dog or Taco #2 and a Pabst. Regardless, the weirdest thing happened the other day, I went to sleep healthy and woke up with a bum knee. No kidding! I don't know what the hell happened.

BTW that's not my cat. It's just a picture I found on the internet
