Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I love when people try to cover up idiocy by saying "I just like pissing people off." Happens every time.

i just put it on though but i heard they hold up well.

people have told me to pick up an armadillo elite for the rear... so i'll give that one a try.

both of these tires are actually way above your $15 mark however... sorry

if you use armadillos for skidding you are an idiot, and love to waste money. and you cant go very fast.

what behavior are you referring to? skidding? or putting continental gatorskins on for skidding? or using armadillo's for skidding? be more specific...

and to deep_puddle i haven't done any research on the armadillos... but for some reason people are recommending them for skidding... dunno i don't ride with a brake so people tend to throw advice at me... whether good or bad..

but anyway the gatorskin rides juuuust fine.

any other tire recommendations for skidding anyone?
