Well, its finally begun.
Just ordered a new frame finally after about 2 months of rigorous e-shopping. Wont be riding it until December/January, will be adding pieces as I get the money for them.
Planned build is:
-Kiyo Miyazawa, 52.5 cm, no dents, barely any scratches. This is the third one I came upon and finally went with, guy at keirinculture was really helpful and cut me a deal I could not resist. Going to do it up with white parts not that any of you care about how a bike looks.
-Sugino 75 cranks and 45 t chainring, already getting these from a friend of mine, just need to actually pay him.
-Undecided on pedals, was originally thinking MKS CUSTOM NUEVOs but may just got with gr-9s after the recent praise for their comfort here. Some toshi doubles.
-Probably going to stick with deep Vs due to the fact Iv been riding my pair for almost a year and have had zero problems with them. Only problem is they are yellow, which would look HORRID with this frame so maybe I can swap them out with someone with white ones. Lace them to phil woods.
-San Marco rolls saddle, maybe nitto seatpost.
Hopefully christmas can help speed things up a notch, until then I can at least you know, look at it and drool. Ill update this once its rideable.

Then aeroheads are a better choice but hey, it's your bike and a very nice one at that.

I just finished up my build. Started at the same spot you're currently at. 
Kinda similar color frame as well.
Since you have time, you can check out Ebay for parts - some nice deals can be had. Picked up a used but nice condition Chorus BB For $38 shipped. TTT stem and a seat posts for $5 each plus a few $ for shipping.

dude, as long as the wheelset is properly built, an open pro to dura ace wheelset is not going to implode. why do people thing deep vs are somehow amazingly more durable then any other rim? and if youre worried that open pros arent durable, why are aeroheads a good idea? sheesh

Iv ridden aeroheads and know people who ride them. My experience with open pros are 0, maybe ill do some search later.

But GR-9s work fine with double straps, getting slightly longer screws shouldn't be a problem for anyone. Or can it be that hard?
