Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I believe that the triple butted chromoly is the Modena model. They are a canadian company (actually made by norco), from what I know. There is some info on them here: https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vintage/285816-fiori-bikes.html

And, i found a couple modenas on kijiji and craigslist that are priced well below that one:

https://windsor.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-s...QAdIdZ70201823
https://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-s...QAdIdZ81422100
https://nashville.craigslist.org/bik/886745635.html

So, i think the question is whether you think the components are worth a couple hundred dollars, since the frame doesnt seem to be anything special.

You should also notice that that bike has been posted twice: once in the beginning of September for 600 and again in october for 550, so people clearly arent biting (which should tell you something).

Hope this helps
