Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Cat Eye EL120

I'm looking at picking this up from Bike Island along with the LD1700-R rear light.

It's a really cheap set so I don't expect it to be a headlight and guide me at all, I'm just looking for something to get me seen. Would this be ok you think or is their something better suited? I figured I could strap the rear light to my bag as well.

Perfectly fine for "to be seen lights". I endorse post #2's recommendation for a rear light. For $15 you aren't going to get a cheaper and brighter rear light. 1W LED.

Want brighter? Either a dinotte 140L or DIY.

Awesome, I'll get that SF one. What about a front light then... recommendations for an inexpensive one?
