I know there is already a Tarck Bikes thread but some of the dumb stuff that shows up on CL.org doesn't really fall into the category of "tarck" but still desreves to be shamed publicly. Post up the ridiculous stuff that shows up on your local CL's.

I'll start:

Another Knox Bykx Custom Build...
This is a beauty! Single Speed Custom Commuter/Messenger Bike. Made for someone tall. The down-tube length is 24 1/2 inches from center of BB to the center of the top tube. I'm 6' 3" and it fits me great! I've put a lot of love in this bike and I come from a BMX background so it's tough as nails and super simple.
It"s a Steel Schwinn Traveller frame and fork. The frame is jet black and the fork is a jade green. Premium products 175mm BMX crank arms with a pro-neck 44 tooth sprocket linked to a 16 tooth freewheel laced to a new weinmann 27x1 1/4rear wheel. Kore PVC flatland pedals, original 4 inch reach stem and original schwinn center pull front brake with new kool stop bmx brake pads. Front wheel is original quick release wheel and is very true with original front wheel locks included. Handlebars are also original and have been flipped, chopped and wrapped with new red bar tape. Durable DK BMX products seat and old dia comp BMX brake lever.
This bike is fast and responsive and the 44-16 gearing is perfect for this area. I can pull almost any hill and maintain good speed on flat ground as well on this bike. It's a classic touring platform made into a fast, tough, custom original.
If you're interested please contact me. I'm firm on the price and you can come check it out for yourself.
Thanks for looking.

Why it is full of fail-
using the name Knox Bykx Customs
Freewheeling SS with only one brake
Calling it a commuter or messenger bike
Repeatedly calling the bike "Custom" even thouhg it's comprised entirely of off-the-shelf parts.
$425 price tag
