Miche Pistard Wheelset

I was wondering if anyone has ridden this wheel set on the road. How do they hold up? I couldn't find any reviews on them on the net so I thought I would ask here. Thanks

imho if u are around 160lbs or so, they should hold up fine. i had a 32/32 wheelset and the rear wheel was laced 3x...front was radial. i doubt having 24 would have collapsed my front wheel. isn't the mavic ellipse front like 20h?

You guys don't know what you're talking about. Respectfully, i disagree. I own 2 sets of Ellipses. Both are for street use. I am 220 lbs and abuse both sets. They are strong as hell and I have not once in 2 years needed to true them. Never in 2 years. My deep vs were not this strong. Spoke count and wheel strength are not dircectly related in the case of the Mavic Ellipse. The Pistards could be just like the Ellipses. I think they look like an awesome deal.
