I don't think anyone has been really unreasonable here. And if I continue to see Leader ignore those concerns in this thread I'll never be able to trust them as a company.
For my specific concern, iansmash did PM me, and it seems I was mistaken about the whole situation. They're just working things out in private, rather than on a public forum, which makes sense.

Yes, our issue is being worked out in private and not on the public forum.

I personally trust Leader Bikes 100%. They have been more than willing to correct all of the issues I personally have had with them.

you guys are a bunch of morons for thinking that aluminum is not a safe material for a fork.

it's at least level if it's like the 721tr

and it's going to utilize a zero stack headset

so no

you can't put a threaded headset on it

why would you even want to on a bike like this???

Your hands/arms don't go numb? Riding aluminum on the street with a carbon fork is bad enough, I can't even imagine an aluminum fork. Hell, even the old cdale alu track frames had a steel fork. Aluminum is stiff and unforgiving.

nah... mine seems to be ok, but of course, i'm in palm beach county, so my longest rides are on a1a or federal highway, both of which are pretty nicely paved, smooth roads without a hill to be seen... so basically i'm not really rippin through busted alleys or anything. i guess i notice the roughness when i nail a pothole or big crack in the road but it just never bothered me enough to make me go drop $200 on a carbon fork. but no my hands don't go numb, and i usually don't wear gloves

I mean...it's uncomfortable over really bad terrain, but nothing unbearable in my opinion.

I much prefer the direct feel

you have the option of choosing a carbon fork w/ aluminum steer tube for $10 more than the full alum. fork. You can also get a full carbon for $40 more.

Supposedly in about a week from now. I got an email from Leader last week saying that I should expect to see a picture of a finished frame set in about two weeks.

here are some better pictures of the forks. these forks in black or white are in stock now. they look great on any of our single speed frames. this fork will be the same one that will be painted to match the 725Tr frame if you ordered it with it.
