Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

sounds like it's $130-150, and for that, I think its better to find an old 10 speed on craigslist to convert.

Isn't that thread really old? I doubt they are available for that price atm anyhow.

Maybe check your local Target on Black Friday though. Haha.

The Forge in my sig cost $330 from Target online when I bought it in October. It's $370 now, but still a great deal for a road bike. I ride it daily, and it's marvelous.

i found one of those wal-mart denali bikes in a local storm drane ditch thing and everything besides the saddle and pedals were on it so i just figured it fell off the back of a truck. i striped it down to the frame and sold it to some kid as an aero aluminum frame. he painted it and threw on matching deep V's needless to say.
