Stem and bars look out of proportion with the oversized tubing(anyone make oversized track drops?), could use some more white(bar tape mostly, maybe cranks(keep the black chainring)). I have yet to see a Leader that doesn't look sorta awkward, but you're close...Lefties are fine with me, just roll up the right(left)pant leg

Not only does it look like a giraffe, but it looks like a giraffe rides it. WTF is up with the seat post? It's gotta be way past the safety height mark.

Raise your hand if you ride fix with no clips and one brake you're just trying to be cool.

*raises hand*

seriously whats the appeal of your bike if you have so little control over the pedals?

Care to share (or private message) how much the omniums ran you? I'm just wondering if I'm getting a good price at $182 for the crankset and BB.

And how do you like them?

I'm not Deshi but i have omniums and that's what i payed for them and i feel like it was a decent deal. The cranks are super stiff, your frame is going flex long before the cranks if you have a steel frame at least. The chainring is one of the roundest i have ever seen with almost zero loose tight action going on in chain when rotated. The bottom bracket takes a good 50 miles to really break in and they are very well sealed so no worries of them getting all dirty and what not. The external bottom bracket is what makes them so light and stiff, superior to the old style bb. I like them a whole lot i would say jump on it!

At $182 retail I would say that is a good deal. I work in a shop and paid wholesale for mine which as around $128 I believe.

Also, everythin gkelley said is true about them other than the decent crank part. (Just messin man.) I dont hve a whole lot of experience with other compareable cranks but I must say the Ominum's have been great thus far. No flex, nice sealed bb, external bb, super round ring, and fairly light weight. That comes out to a great package to me.

I would say buy it and ride it. You wont regret it.

now it has a name, The Giraffe. The seat could even come up an inch more, I need to find a bigger frame. And my nickname is the drunken giraffe
