just finished putting it together the other day...seat and post are takeoffs from the LBS, ran out of money on this build. not sure about the stem/spacer or even the bars...may flip the stem or pick up some bullhorns.
let me know what you think. first time i've ever built a bike from scratch.

However, I don't like Sugino Messengers. They look like playtoys. (I have them too).
I'd go with an all-silver or chrome theme for the components.
Stem angle (though I'm aware that's comfort thing.)
EDIT: Wrap your bars, holmes.

the bar wrap is coming...haven't even had much time to ride the thing yet. after a couple long rides i'll see about flipping the stem and possibly cutting the fork and removing the spacer.
i don't like the messenger chainring either, but it was the cheapest way to get the rd cranks from benscycle. i need a 46t anyway that's a 44, i'll probably sell it in a few weeks.
thanks for the comments.

ehh, the turbos aren't the prettiest saddles on the planet, but they are the most comfortable! (to me at least)

i made the mistake of wearing them to work and then i stayed for another shift. they're not comfy shoes. riding in them is fine, walking and standing not so much. i just love the design of them.

*I retract my previous statement* That looks really good. I still do like the horns pretty well, though.

Agree there. Blue, white, brown and gold all fighting each other like a WWF, tag team match.

gold and brown are both extremely warm tones. brown is more red and gold is more yellow, but it's not exactly a contrast... at all. it's boarderline monochromatic.
but i accept and appreciate your thoughts. they are definitely contrasting/conflicting textures and it's not as clean as it was with black... but i will keep it for a while at least.
