Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? new build, what do you think?

Thought I'd ask the experts on this & show off my new build at the same time. This is a little different - not a track bike, but probably all utility! I wasn't sure what ratio I wanted, so I have 12 to choose from here. I got the mismatched wheels right & did a chop job on the risers, front brake (safety first, right?). I'd like to know what color I should paint it and does anyone know where I can get 24" deep Vs!

Go easy on me, I'm not an experienced builder!

I call it the Redneck Fix

How did you fix it? Did you weld the freewheel?

It looks like a beast. For a ride like this, I would just sticker bomb it and maybe go for scraper bike wheels instead of deep Vs. That will surely bring you mad honeys.
