Since your crank arms and ring are black, so, too, should the stem be.

Is that a Schwinn Varsity?
I'd go with Black stem, black bars, and yellow grips.

yeh its a schwinn var

how much do black quill's run for? ( just the generic classic look. doesnt need a removable face, unless i cant thread risers through. but i should be able to thread them just fine right?)

if i were to keep the silver quill, how do u guys think silver risers and black grips sound.
dont want to dish out more money for the black quill. =\ but if its a reasonable price they maybe.

thnx for your input guys

I just don't understand when people ask questions about which color.

I mean, with parts, it's like, okay, I don't know which one works best/ is crappy/ weighs less/ is too fragile, etc... but colors, it's like, dude do you have eyes?

Edit: Apologies if you actually are blind.

You should be able to pick up a quill stem on the cheap about anywhere. I've got three or four in my parts bin just collecting dust. If you want it black just get some metal etching primer, some gloss black spray paint, and glossy clear coat.
