Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? one man's trash...

while out for a walk tonight i noticed a pile of trash in front of someone's house, so, being the inquisitive person i am, i decided to rumage through it.

glad i did. two items of interest:

item the first: "NERDS: a brief history of the internet" book. meh...i'll read it.
item the second: a set of profile airstrike aerobars, in pretty good condition (not cracked of anything like that). only thing that's missing is the mounting bolts, and i should be able to pick some up at a hardware store. rock and ******** roll!

I think the book was pretty decent find, too. I remember PBS (or maybe Discovery/TLC) did a documentary on that and it was quite good. Lucky day, indeed!
