Did anyone else notice that the rear wheel is laced 3-cross on the drive side, and radial on the non-drive side?

or that the peddle arms are bluu!!

edit: sorry, im in a sitty mood. i did notice the cross, i thought it was 2-cross and radial though, (im probably wrong) don't they do that to account for the extra stress the drie side allegedly takes?

FYI bikes (other than recumbents) don't have seats they have saddles... a seat is something that supports the riders weight and a saddle is one of many support points.

are you serious? who cares? It's starting to dawn on me why so many people are annoyed by this forum. There's just so much unnecessary snobbery. Seat...saddle, you, as well was everyone else, knew what the op was referring to.

p.s. how do you explain SEATstays and SEATposts and SEATclamps?

i refute the above:

muffin, is nothing like muff, but both 'muffin' and 'muff' are either the correct or colloquial terminology for what they are commonly associated with.

a seat may well be something you sit on, but when it refers to the part of the bicycle with which it is associated, it is a saddle.
a horsen saddle is something you 'sit' on (read:seated; base:seat) but by using the correct terminology, i know that you were on top of a horse.

if built by the same builder , the 3x (both sides) should* be stronger but the driveside of the rear wheel will be under the most torque (obviously) which is why 3x needs to be there. you can save grams by building in radial, but lets not get into the argument on weight of radial vs 3x.... the fact is, it will weight less. and for normal road and race applications (track too) radial nondriveside will survive.

many road wheel manufacturers although using different hubs/spokes also employ radial nondriveside

Radial non-drive seems pretty useless on a non-dished wheel but what the hey.

It's not uncommon on dished wheels and there is a reason for building them that way, but on a symmetric build? Why? I can't see any reason to build a wheel that way.
