Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Information on Campy Wheelset

Hey group! In the process of trading my dad bikes over thanksgiving (I now have his Fuji S12) he handed me a wheelset... he cant remember where or when he got them but he gave them to me.

Here is what I have...

Looks like set of racing wheels (italian) with Campy record wide flange hubs. Can anyone help me with any more information? What are they worth? I am thinking of trading or selling these to help fund finishing setting up my winter bike.

I have attached a few images to for your viewing pleasure, sorry about the dust on the wheels they have been in the garage for years.

my campy-knowledge isn't he best, but i believe they are n-record hubs..

they appear to be road hubs, even for the rear they dont appear to have threading for a lockring so riding them (apart from the track) will no go well...

i say sell them. pocket the money. then buy what you will with your dough.

Those are Campy Nuovo Record road hubs from the 6 speed freewheel era laced to Fiamme "red label" tubulars. Have this thread moved to Classic & Vintage, you'll get more help. You can get pricing from ebay.
