Caught the bug. . .needing some opinions please

I have caught the "Fixed" bug. I am a bmx'er at heart but have found that mountain biking is what I do for the most part. I own a Scott s20 for the road and completely love it. I am going to go with a fixed here soon. I wanted a Fuji track pro frame and build it myself. But I have found that Its cheaper just to buy a whole bike. Since I've got 5 nice bikes already, wifey wont let me spend too much. If you had a choice would you go with the 09 Fuji comp, 09 felt tk3 or the Felt curbside? I know the curbside is a different beast but it looks like a lot of fun. My goal of getting a fixed is to improve my spin, sprinting and throw in a different type of work out. Since no one stocks the curbside It makes it hard to choose.
    Thanks,
    Eddie

since the first two you posted were pretty aero bikes I would think you might be taking that into account. In that case I would save a little money by getting a used Felt TK2 instead of a TK3. And then use the money you saved and get a nice used Tri Spoke. That would be a real nice bike

I was in your situation not too long ago. I considered all those bikes and also considered the Felt Dispatch, Trek T1, and Pista Concept.

I ruled out the Felt Dispatch and Curbside because of the sloping top tube. I ended up with a Trek T1. Used will save you a lot so search your local CL or ebay

You don't need a trispoke. You don't need an aero bike, thought it still looks badass. I'd look at the Kilo TT, Charge plug, steamroller and such.

    Felt TK2. . .

but if you're in this price range ($$$$) you could also consider:
    Cervelo P3C
    Duratec Sprinter T11
    Jamis Sonik
    Karbona Neo
    Koga Track

    are you racing BMX?
cause fixed gear training for bmx isn't that great. I think it makes me lazier. and for spin it is good but ...... its a weird transition back to freewheels
however it is way more fun than gears IMO.

my wife made me sell a fixed bike so I could by my Phat BMX race bike. so I feel your wife/bike pain.

I don't race BMX anymore. I do race mountain bike's though. Now that you say it would make you lazy that does make since. I'M going to the LBS today and ride a felt tk2 today. I think I probably just need to buy a steel (cheap bike). I don't see my self riding it that much. Although they look like tons of fun. all in all I think going with a used frame is the way to go. Patients is a vertue. . .right?

Mercier kilo tt is the way to go. Under $400 cool starter and steel is better on the street anyway
