IRO Rob Roy...52cm sizing

I am a hair above 5'9 and have a 30" inseam (using the book in the crotch measurement). I am looking at a Rob Roy for a winter commuter and am wondering if 52cm is too small? I ride a 54cm Crosscheck in the summer and it fits fairly well, but a tad too long of a top tube, which I have dealt with by using dove bars. Any input on RR sizing would be great. The price is good on the 52cm I am looking at so I might take a dive and try it anyway, but wanted some input.

i'm 5'9" and i ride a 57. 56 would be perfict for me, but they didn't have it, so i got it a little bigger. i think 54-55 would be the smallest frame i would go.

I'm 5'6" with a 29" inseam and my 52cm Rob Roy is a good fit for me. I imagine that it'd feel too small for someone taller than me unless they used a setback post and a longer stem.
