Kilo TT pro tire question...

Will the front brake clear a 700x25 tire? It barely rubs as of right now. I have tried adjusting the brake with no avail. I can move the wheel a little down in the fork ends and problem solved but this is not safe is it? Any one else with the problem or anyone have a solution?

I took mine out for a ride as soon as I put it together with the brake attached and it rubbed like crazy with the stock 23s. I ride brakeless so it doesn't matter much to me but I would assume you can't go much bigger than a 23 with the brake and 28s without. Personally I wouldn't move the wheel in the fork ends, that's not gonna hold nor is it a safe way to resolve your issue.

had the same problem when i first got my TT pro.....when installing the brake use one hand to angle it upward, use the other hand to tighten the bolt on the opposite side of the fork, then adjust the brake pads as necessary. if you do that you will have more than enough clearance between the tire and brake. 25's will fit easily, one member on here is running 28 gatorskins with a stock brake on his TT pro
