Tektro front
I have a Tektro long reach front and lever laying around and want to put in on my girl friends Schwin Varsity. I had to drill out my Nishiki for it to fit. Should I expect to drill out her Varsity? Is a long reach even the right setup for her bike? She has the original 27's on it right now.
Thanks for the advice even though my question is probably stupid,

To figure out what kind of brake you need, measure from the center of the brake hole to the middle of the rim's braking surface.
long reach is usually 47-57mm; extra long reach is 55-73mm.
anything less is a regular road brake; anything more is ridiculous.

Instead of drilling, just get a Keirin brake kit.
