VO/Wellgo Track Pedals???
Velo-Orange has thier own version of the Wellgo track pedal.
Anyone tried them? Are they any different than the 20 dollar Wellgo pedals?

I have a set too, but am waiting until the salt goes away before taking them out. They look really nice, definitely. I think the difference is mostly the finish (and the $20 dimension/wellgos of yore seem to no longer be made).

VOs look very good to me. sealed bearings are the way to go. some seller somewhere also claimed that they are actually lighter than the RX-1s, if that makes any difference to anyone.

these are the same as the Dimension pedals also. $15 at my LBS in Brooklyn, and can be found online sub-$20 on a number of websites.
I rode them for about a year with Christophe clips and some cheap nylon straps. not bad as a low-cost way to get the track look and feel, although the bearings are el-cheapo. they've held up well mostly but the bearings got stiff and sticky over time. i didn't bother to take them apart and re-pack them though.
recently replaced them with njs MKS Custom Nuevo's, and the improvement was noticable, but then again that's a $150 pedal versus a $15 one.

sylvan lites didn't eat any of my sneakers, either with clips & straps or with powergrips. sylvans or sylvan tracks are worse.
