Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikeisland The Jury - BLUE

Was wondering if anyone built up a blue Jury frame yet. I know there is a 10-page thread on the frame, but it seems to have died before anyone posted pics of a blue one.

Anyone have one of these? I am curious to see what the blue looks like, kind of hard to tell from the website.

I have one. I bought it for a winter build and just lost interest in having another bike. I'll try to post some pics later today when I get home.

What brakes are people who own this frame running? I'm thinking about transfering the parts from my Messenger to a Jury frameset so I can run ridiculously large tires but I still want to run at least a front brake.

Tektro R556 for the front. Same with a drop bolt in the back. You're going to need to drill out the back of the fork so that it can take a recessed nut though.
