Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Sugino RD + 113mm UN53 BB

Sugino RD cranks make a reported 45mm chainline mated with the stock 103mm bottom bracket. I need my double fixie chainline to be 45mm inside and 50mm outside.

So, increasing the spindle length by 10 would give me an additional five mm on each side of the cranks and theoretically give me the 45/50 mm chainlines I need, right?

Thanks!!

As long as the 113 is symmetrical that is right.
