Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Big-up to my main man- Pricepoint.com

I ordered some stuff from Pricepoint for a mixte conversion that I'm building for my wife. When my shiny new IRO crankset arrived it had a slight chip in the driveside crank arm. Nothing structural, just a cosmetic blemish. I was a little disapointed but hated to waste time/money returning them for an unflawed set so I emailed Pricepoint customer service and explained the situation. They were quick to respond and offered me a credit for some money off my next order. I think this was a mutually beneficial solution because they aren't stuck with a scratch/dent item and they know I'll order from them again.

I've never had problems with previous orders from Pricepoint but after seeing how they resolved the minor issue with this one I'll certainly continue to shop with them.

Pricepoint is dope. I go to them for large orders of small things like cables, chains, bar tape, etc. I find their shipping costs to be a bit higher than other sites, so I usually wait until I have a bunch of stuff to order to offset some of the s&h costs.

I can dig on Pricepoint. I can often get similar deals from my LBS, but that's neither here nor there.
