Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yeah your right. You should post up vid of you sitting at your comp. Angry and bitter, complaining about stunting and skidding.

It's a hub that can move in either direction without turning the cranks (unlike a typical freewheel that will pedal when rolling backwards)

This guy works at my LBS and helps out with my fixed gear. He's real knowledgeable about track bikes, which is pretty cool.

1:07 is probably the most impressive thing I've ever seen in a BMX video. I have no idea how that kid holds wheelies that long. And yeah, the music blows.

Also, after riding a properly-sized bike I just can't get used to how silly people look on BMX bikes.

everything in those BMX videos are amazing
but idk why the hate on fixed videos, the stuff they can do is amazing, sure bmx bikes are better fit for tricks, but why not do them on a fixed if you can?
