WT or TT????
Which should I buy?!?!!? I recently bought a cyclocross bike to ride around on in the winter up here in chicago, but I constantly find myself worrying about locking it up downtown and want a ride that I can just slap a U-lock on and not worry about at all. That and I really miss riding my fixie, so I'm calling a vote... should I get https://bikesdirect.com/products/mercier/kilott_pro.htm or.... https://bikesdirect.com/products/mercier/kilott_wt.htm ???? I like them both so I'm calling a vote. I was thinking the WT because of the fatter tires and wanting this to be a winter ride I would like the wider tires.
Another problem is that the WT colors are fugly and the TT yellow looks pretty damn good.
Whadya think?

(A) get the WT. Big tires are a win.
(B) both the red and green WT's are not ugly in fact quite the opposite.

I just got the WT. I had to make my own compression slot on the seat tube binder because it was not there. Other than that, it seems pretty cool. I haven't ridden it yet, but I have 40mm tires on it with room to spare.

I'm in Chicago and bought a WT a few weeks ago to use for the winter. I would have bought a steamroller, but the fender eyelets and the rear brake stops pushed me towards the WT. Very satisfied with it so far. Ability to run fatter tires (I have 700 x 30) and full fenders is pretty key for winter imho.

Here's some pics.I was so pissed when I saw the seat tube binder wasn't cut properly, but I cut it open with a hacksaw and dremel.
Teaser pic. I'll get better pics when it's all done. Those are Schwalbe Marathon XR 40mm tires. Look at that extra space still!

Still piecing it up, but here are more pics
This was my mod to make the seatpost grip. Kinda shotty, but it works
Here are clearance pics. Massive space left even with the brakes. A 50mm Schwalbe Big Apples can fit in as well, but a brake can't be used with it since it rubs
As a comparison, the Surly Crosscheck fork looks similar, but the Mercier fork doesn't have as much clearance as the CC with the same tire
