Custom Velocity Wheelset
 

Hello, first post.

I was looking into making my own Velocity Deep V Wheelset, but i lack the tools, and knowledge of parts i need. What i wanted to ask was if anyone knows what equipment, parts, or tool i need.
I bookmarked some pages on my computer, i was thinking of getting some Gold Anodied Dimension Track hubs, and im still contemplating what color Velocity Rims im going to get.
Can someone aid me with what sizze/diamater spokes i would need, and what works, and what doesnt work with velocitys.

And, the reason i posted asking how to do it is because i want to do it myself. I dont want to pay labor, and extra costs.

You should read Jobst Brandst's wheelbuilding book.

youtube search wheel building, lots of good videos to show you how to do the process but also a wheel building book is handy to keep around for reference.

Prebuilt wheels will probably be cheaper....

If you want to build wheels for the experience or joy that's great but don't think you're going to save some bucks doing it yourself..
