Today it was +50 degrees and the roadies were on the MUP with tights, booties, full jackets and balaklavas. It was funny.

As opposed to denim testicle huggers, a boutique cotton hoodie with a fixie logo, and flashy sneakers?

Some roadies seem prone to going waaaaay overkill on that stuff but they might have started their rides when it was still in the 30s.

i saw a kid today in lycra and a bib who couldn't have been older than eight. it was awesome.

I dropped a roadie going down hill and uphill while eating a bag of chips, all I heard was gears clicking trying to catch up.

You might be right there, guy. I, in my jersey, shorts and sidi's, only went for a quick 40 mile ride today. I waited until it was warm enough to go out in shorts and a jersey, because I didn't want to carry a bunch of extra clothing.

Great, but the "roadie" who rides daily in his balaclava and windbreaker is going to be in better condition than you who rides a "quick" 40 miles.
